What To Expect

Our Sunday services take place at 10:00 am each week. Our building is located at 225 South Mesa Street in the beautiful city of San Pedro. Here’s some information you may want to know before visiting us on a Sunday:

What does a Sunday service look like?
Our service begins with prayer and a devotional scripture. The worship team leads us in praise,

We then continue in worship through song, led by either the Sanctuary Choir or the Children’s Choir. We take a moment to acknowledge and welcome visitors during a special greeting period, followed by an opportunity to worship through giving of tithes and offerings.

After prayer, greetings, and worship in song, our Pastor or speaker of the hour deliver a Biblical message that is both relevant and applicable to daily life,.

At the conclusion of the sermon, we extend an Invitation to Discipleship—a moment where those who do not yet know Jesus Christ are invited to accept Him as Savior and Lord. Individuals are also welcome to join Mount Sinai through Baptism or Christian Experience.

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we welcome you to worship with us and experience the love and presence of God!
How long is the service?
A typical Sunday service at Mount Sinai lasts one hour and forty-five minutes, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and usually concluding before 12:00 p.m.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Dress in whatever makes you comfortable—whether that’s business casual, traditional church attire, or something more casual. Everyone is welcome!
Where should I sit?

We're excited to help you find the perfect seat! Our friendly ushers at The Mount will be there to greet you and assist you in finding your spot. If you have any specific needs, just let them know when you arrive at the door, and they’ll be happy to help!
Are my children welcome?
Yes! Children of all ages are welcome to attend the service. At Mount Sinai, we offer Junior Church during the Morning Worship Service for children ages two through twelve, every Sunday except for the fourth Sunday (Youth Sunday).

Our goal is not merely to provide childcare; we aim to create a structured, edifying, Christ-centered learning and worship experience in a safe and loving environment.

The safety of our children is a top priority, which is why we limit the capacity of our children’s worship experience based on our available space and staffing. We invite you to contact our staff with any questions. You are also welcome to visit the children’s church on the second floor on Sundays to check if space is available for your child.

Children's Church logistics:.
  • Check in your child 10 minutes before the service begins.
  • Sign your child in and provide your contact information.
  • If you are needed during the service, inform an usher, who will notify you.
  • After the service, return to your child’s room and sign your child out with the Junior Church Team.
